I have started my duckies on DuMor’s Duck All Lifestages feed, which is a 22% crumble. Will it be safe to feed this to my ducklings as they are growing? I thought the percentage needed to change but the feed claims to work for all life stages of ducks. Any advice would be so helpful!

What breed of ducks do you have?

Still figuring that out! I think one is a female Welsh Harlequin and the other may be a Swedish or Campbell? I’m pretty sure he’s male but again I’m a bit unclear.
So they're not a heavyweight breed like Pekins, right? Pekins are more prone to developing leg issues but because ducklings in general grow so much in such a short time frame, feeding a complete and balanced feed is important for their overall health.

I have always fed Purina Flock Raiser, but I do switch to Purina Duck Pellets once they get a little older. If that feed is specified for ducks in all life stages, I imagine it's fine. As far as the protein content and your concerns about angel wing, make sure they have plenty of space to be able to exert their energy. There are multiple thoughts about the high protein causing issues. I'll tag @WVduckchick for her thoughts 💜

Thank you so much!! No, they don’t seem to be heavyweight. Certainly not Pekins! I’ll link an image of them here. This is super helpful! Thank you!
