Sooo
I picked up some Welsh harlequin ducklings last summer, to give my WH duckling that we hatched from known lines some friends that weren’t turkeys 😂
They were a bit older than her, but we got the flocks integrated in a fair amount of time. The adults look like welshies, possibly w some crosses....
they were supposedly purebred but don’t exactly match up to our previous group... so I’m not certain that beak color at hatch will be as accurate :/
We are incubating/ hatching eggs, and. Most of the ducks that hatched, I am pretty certain are hens. But. There is one that I’m on the fence about- it’s beak color is not like the other “girls”, but also not like my past drakes.
I’m leaning towards- it’s a drake.
Votes are welcome 💕 no worries about being wrong ;)
Pix of the adults, groups of babies, and the single is the the baby in question

Only a few of the adults look like pure Harlequins, so that will have some effect on being able to sex them by bill color, which is only 90% accurate at the best of times. That said, I'm guessing it's a drake.
