I just bought several ducklings to raise for the first time. I saw today that one of them has a very swollen leg and foot and will put no weight on it at all. It's warm to the touch which I've found means that it's infected. I don't necessarily want to take him to the vet if it's something I can fix at home. What kind of antibiotics can I purchase for him and what is the best way to administer them to the little guy?

water fowl are very sensitive to meds so getting some from a vet would be the way to go. If you have a vet that you use for your other animals they may sell you an antibiotic. My goose needed some antibiotics for a wounded wing and my vet sold me some without me taking him in. Sounds like your little duck needs help asap. I think you can give Baytril to ducks but I had to order mine and I don't think you should wait for something to come in the mail for this since it sounds like infection. sorry forgot my manners
