Duckling hatched... dont know what is hanging out, not yolk!

I have tied string around the small cord i could see through the muck, shes been hatching going on 4 days now and just kicked herself out. Im shocked she is still alive but she is such a fighter!
Has she herniated?
Ive tried to give her sugar water but she isnt accepting it

Yes i tied iff the blood supply with cotton and syringe fed her protien water and sugar water every hour for 2 days snd shes perfect!!! Follows me everywhere haha

OH MY GOODNESS. I am so sorry no one responded when you posted this a week ago. I am very glad the little duckling made it. WOW what a little fighter. Might have to call her Tina Turner.

No worries!!! I read through heaps of posts on this site and found a bunch of information which helped me out!!

Shes so perfect! Ive called her my little princess Coco

Also rescued a blind ducking a crow was trying to eat 2 days after she hatched so she has a friend she is looking after now
