Hi everyone I rescued a duckling that I found on its back outside he couldn't get himself back over this was 2 days ago and since I've had him in a small box with woodchips and a heat lamp with food and water but every couple of hours he ends up back upside down and can't get over
one of his legs seems really limp but when you hold him he pushes against my hand with it so it's not broken. He keeps having spasms of some sort and putting his head right back and kicking his legs but then after a minute or two comes right and eats and drinks again but is not walking. I've been giving him nutritional yeast along with his food but no progress yet. Any ideas please and thank you

her ones hatched and are doing well she has 7 and then I have 2 of them so they are all from the same batch. I've been watching the mother and her babies since they hatched and they were all doing great they're about a week and a couple days old so this duckling just randomly started doing this. Maybe he ate something? They are indian runner ducks and yes i am giving them the proper food I have already made the mistake of using chick started feed unfortunately
