so i have a duckling that is 3 days late hatching. it hasn't internally piped or anything but when i candle it there is a faint movement but im getting worried because the movement is getting slower and not a s frequent any suggestions?? :fl

the temperature is 37.5°C and 55% humidity. and its strange because the rest of them hatched without difficulty.

Can You See Any Movement Of The Duckling When You Candle The Egg? He May Be Shrink-wrapped & Needs Help Hatching.

i can see a little movement but he hasn't even internally pipped yet.. shall i crack it open to give it air... i have just never had this happen before

Try Searching For Assisted Hatching I've Never Done It But You Can See Other Peoples Posts Who Have

ok i've done assiting before just not like this.. so i should assist even though it hasent pipped?

If The Duckling Is Late You Could Open A Small Hole & Check The Membrane & See If It Is Shrink-wrapped .
