Duckling pipped on side of egg?

And it pipped 3 days early.
It's an Indian runner duckling and he's on day 25 and he's pipped on the side of his egg. We have him in lockdown, but this is my first hatch EVER. is he going to be okay??

Take a look at my response to your other post. I have read that it can take a really long time from the time they pip till they're all done. It is quite an effort. I have also read about how important it is to keep the humidity up, to resist the urge to open the incubator. So post on that other thread (Formerly Known) and see what specific help you can get there.
