We just got our first four ducks in the mail today. One seems to have a a hurt leg. She can walk, but tries to put as much weight as possible on the left leg instead of the right leg. Looking at them, the right leg does not seem swollen or "bent" out of place. I'm hoping it's just sprained from shipping since they were in the mail system 2 days instead of one, it maybe she is just feeling weird after getting out of the box. Here is what she looks like walking:

I guess if it was me I would make a tiny hobble using small strips of vet wrap to hold her legs into proper position, get her started on a niacin supplement like others said, and just keep her in a small area close to food and water and the other babies so she doesn't have to walk very far while her leg strengthens. When I made the hobbles I wrapped a little loop of vet wrap around each leg, then used a loop to go around both legs pulling them into proper position. At her young age you might just need to do that for a couple days.

Thank you for all the advice so far, their food has some nutritional yeast in it already, so hopefully that starts to go to work soon! We also noticed they were yanking at each others' legs a lot, it turned out they were going for the bands on the golden layers and khaki's feed (I'd say the hatchery put it on the make it easier to tell those 3 apart from each other), as soon as we took the bands off they stopped going for each other legs, maybe she was just yanked at a little too much since she still had the band on at the time.

I missed this scrolling through responses; thank you! Hopefully a few days and she's better.

Update: she is doing better; idk if it's the hobbles or B3 in her diet but something seems to be working. We've also been putting her in a cup several times a day. It's still a little splayed, but she can already run and stand so much better!
