Hi Guys, I have a month old runner duckling that seems to be struggling to walk, her stance seems very wide compared to my other ducklings and she looks likes she has arthritis in her legs that's the best was to describe it really. She can walk but isn't very sturdy on her feet and just wants to sit all the time, I've had a feel around her legs and all seems ok, nothing obvious but im new to ducklings so knowledge is a minimum, she has strength in both legs when I checked them, I have started them all on a tonic and just started with worming them, they have chick crumb and the others seem good and strong, we have also noticed one of them sneezing a bit but having difficulty decided which one it is as isn't all the time. Any advise really appreciated.

I really don't think 1 month old duckling need wormed, it's very hard on lil tummies. and unless kept in horrid conditions would even have worms at 1 month. Okay usually wobbly legs is a sign of Niacin diff. some ducklings struggle with this more than others but I would suggest you put them all on 100-150 megs of plain niacin in 1 gallon of fresh water then put into their waterers. do this daily till 12 weeks old. most of the time it takes less than a week to notice improvement. A friend told me if you can go to Walmart and ask the pharmacist they have the plain niacin over the counter. don't get time released or flush free. also Brewers yeast sprinkled on top of their feed has niacin in it 2 tab to 1 cup of feed. Chick crumb just doesn't have the amount of niacin ducklings need. I have to use it too since I can't get duckling feed here. That's why I supplement with niacin also and I have used Brewers Yeast. with good results. And
