We have 4 Abacot ranger ducklings. 4 weeks old. Just noticed the biggest one has blood on one of its wings and seems to be holding that wing slightly differently to the other side.

Otherwise he's walking around, flapping his wings, still eating and swimming etc. Have t noticed any predators/cats etc around and the ducks aren't more skittish tonight so doesn't fit with him being attacked.

Have attached some pics. We've just cleaned with water so far.

Very grateful for any ideas as to what might have caused it and if we can just leave him if he seems happy or do we need to do anything different?
First-time duck raisers!!

Thank you :fl

Awe. She might have snagged it on something. They are just a little vulnerable when their wing feathers are first growing in like that. If it's still bleeding you can put a bit of corn starch on it to stop the bleeding. I think she will be just find though. It's possible she could lose a feather if it's too badly damaged, but it's not a big deal as long as the others aren't picking on her.
