Duckling with balding maybe sore patches

Hi all,

Our 2 week old ducklings seem to have some patches that are balding and maybe sore.

They keep rubbing themselves with their beaks and in a couple of areas they seem to be thinning.

Is this just where they are growing their next feathers?

I did try and search and Google this but I couldn't find an adequate answer.

Also when can the ducklings eats peas?

They're 2 weeks tomorrow.

And super hard to photograph, it's more apparent when they are wet. I will try and get some pictures and I've attached my best attempt

It's not sure red but it is pinkish. My family say I'm a worrier

It's normal to see bare patches at your duckling's ages. It's itchy too when old down is falling out and new feathers start coming in.
