Hi I am new to this....I have 6 chickens and I have a male and female mallard. One other female mallard recently had a nest with 12 eggs. Well, a week before hatching, something killed her. I put the eggs in an incubator I had, and 5 hatched. One has a bad crooked neck and can hardly hold its head up. it twists to the left. I will try to put on some pictures. I read about something called Wry neck...and I got the poly-vi-sol vitamin drops and also some vitamin E. They hatched on May 8 I started giving the duckling the vitamin drops on the 12th. Is there anything else you think I could do or try? I was wondering about some type of neck splint/brace to help it hold its head up but don't know if that would help or hurt it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
