Yes it will get started ASAP. usually see improvement in a couple days, 1 tab to 1 cup of feed sprinkled over top.
the link wouldn't work but as long as it's brewers yeast it will be fine, you might want to spray some warm water on the feed to get the BY to stick to it and not fall to the bottom.

I have one out of 12 that likes to sit a lot. I have been giving 2 - 250 mg over their morning feed for the last few days. No real change. I guess I can pull her out of the group at feeding time. Any suggestions?

I had a duckling with a crooked neck, started adding brewers yeast to the feed and she straightened up after a couple weeks. I bought it in the powdered form and just shake it up in the feed.

How old? my 6week old Muscovy duck which I know now is a drakelet, sits a lot too but is very typical of the drakelets have no reason why but all my drakes at his age do it, not the ducklets though. But I use brewers yeast for my whole flock young and old. So what your seeing maybe normal. When the duckling walks does it appear to be having problems?

5 weeks old. Doesn't seem to have problems getting around though. I did notice two of the ducks having trebly legs after the took their first bath today. 82 degrees so couldn't be cold. Just wondering if I need to up the amount of brewers yeast. Maybe 2 tablets isn't enough for 12 ducks.

I'd up the dosage that's a lot of ducks your trying to give the BY too you need at least 1 tab to 1 cup of feed so crush up that amount of tabs. till you get the dosage. Coffee grinder works good.

Once you get the dosage right you should notice improvements in as little as 2 days. Oh and forgot to tell you my lil drake even lays down when he eats. lol
