My babies are outside for the first time today and they love it. We'll take them back in at night but they're so cute!

I am sure that your little ones are loving their adventures outside! What kind of ducks are the speckledy ones? Are they Ancona or something else? I recognize the Mallard. I don't know what the dark kind is. What a cute bunch of fluff butts you have! :love

The Speckled ones are Patty and Roadrunner the Anconas, The black one is Celeste the Cayuga, and the brown one is Mina who's supposed to be a Rouen but I'm having suspicions that she's actually a Mallard

Hey, I'm proud of myself for guessing correctly on your Anconas lol! One way you can tell if she is actually a Mallard is by looking at her feet. Domesticated Mallard Ducklings hatched domestically are required to be identified per US Fish and Wildlife regulations so on one of her feet, I forget which one, she will have a back toe removed. I thought I was grabbing 3 Rouen when I got my first ducklings at Tractor Supply. I found out that I chose 2 Rouen and 1 Mallard. That's how I found out about the toe.
