Ducklings and treats

How old do ducklings need to be before they can swallow peas and mealworms? Mine are 2 weeks old now and their bills look too small still…

You could mush or crush up the treats to be smaller. Have grit available, too, so they can digest the treats properly.
Do limit the treats, though, since they are growing and need their duckling feed the most.

I started giving peas at three weeks. I never even thought of giving them mealworms!
