Duckling's beat me to lock down

I was set to put a rack of duck eggs into lock down tomorrow at noon. So today I added more water to my hatcher. I went to check on it at 11pm tonight. Wanted to make sure humidity and temp was right. After checking that I peaked into the window on my new sportsmen 1502. I found a whole rack of duck eggs that started pipping. Good thing I had the hatcher ready. They are all laying on their side pecking away. Tomorrow is day 25

I had the same thing happen when I hatched ducks a few weeks ago. I don't know why they hatched early, the chicken eggs with them didn't and neither did the goose eggs.

Duck 2 hatched and 3 more are close. Suppose to start lockdown 1:43 minutes ago

My ducklings hatched 3 days early too! Must be something in the air lol.. What type are they? Ive just hatched indian runners and call ducks, there so funny we love them..

My karki campbell ducklings have started hatching 4 days early. They are only pipping but I was very surprised and a bit concerned. Fingers crossed they will all be ok.. 2 are pipping and the other two are tapping. My children are beside themselves with excitement.

Same thing just happened to me! I was due to start lockdown last night. On my last turn of the eggs, I heard a peep and noticed a couple of eggs had pips. Eggs are from my Pekins and I'm happy to say 6 have already hatched on day 26
