This Welsh Harlequin duckling is a few days old and her bill is deformed. The bottom juts out and it seems like she can't close it all the way. She is eating and drinking fine, and acting normally, but she breathes open mouth, sneezes some, and her airway makes a clicking noise when she breathes. Is this something to worry about right now? Is a vet visit necessary or will she be fine with being monitored? I was considering getting her some Vet-RX Poultry to see if I can clear her respiratory tract, but I'm not sure if it is ok to give to babies/ if it is a different dosage. I've very worried and don't want her to hurt.:(

I have a 3 week old Pekin whose bill looks just like this! As she grows it has gotten worse, especially the mouth breathing. She’s growing at the same rate as her brooder-mates but I’m concerned about it getting worse. Any updates on your duck?
