Ducklings dead

I'm trying to find an explanation for this.I have 6 khaki Campbell and 5 Rouen ducklings about 4 weeks old.Yesterday I found two dead in their pen and no sign of outside intruders.Has anyone else had their ducklings kill each other?

Do they have warmth? I don't know where you are, but the last couple nights here in NC we've had temp drops, so it's been cold in the morning still when I get up. This morning the air is so crisp, ick

I'm in Texas so it's still pretty warm here but I had been using a heat lamp at night.It gets a little chilly at night,50s but not too bad.I haven't the past few days and they seemed ok but I might turn that back on again.

How large is the pen?

I figured it out somewhat.Something dug under to get in.The hole was small so I didn't notice it at first.Looks like electric fence time.

Probably something like a mink they can get through a 1" hole so very sorry for your loss. At 4 weeks they need temps around 70*
