I dont know what could be the cause, I have read to have light for ducklings at least 14 hrs a day and 10 of dark but I keep their light on everyday to keep them warm (my house is way too cold to keep the light off)
could it be that theyre not getting enough sleep???

It's hard to understand what you mean by "red eyes" without seeing them. like bloodshot? you can see the inside of the eyelids? or blood filled?

Mine have light on them 24/7 adults & babies.. but the adults can sleep outside if they want. it has never bothered my babies though.

Oops! My mistake

Their eyes arent red, its the outside; around their eyes.
They also seem exhausted and tired, but Im too afraid to take them outside considering its about 50 degrees all day
so Im having a hard time wondering if theyre tired or if its normal ?

Do they get baths? their eyes may just be irritated from the bedding or something? they do have enough room to get out of the direct light if they want to, right?

What breed are they?
and how old?

They do get baths, sometimes every day if not every other day. Hmm I guess it COULD be the bedding; sometimes they spill the food, water, and lay on their poop without a care.
but the light I have for them is too bright to get out of it

Idk if maybe theyre old enough to keep themselves warm?

theyre call ducks. one of them is a month old and the other is about 3 wks

Call ducks have smaller heads & bills, even as babies, their heads should be round(calls) if they're decent quality anyway.

I am not too familiar with calls though so I would change the title to "Call Ducklings Eyes are Red" or something, i do think you'll get more of a response if you're breed specific.

It does sound like something is irritating their eyes though...
