Ducklings first swim...

Our baby Rouen ducklings had their first swim today.

Every time I look at these posts I have a hankering to go get more babies...

You can give them more water. They will love the diving more with deep water, just have one end they can stand it. I used my bathtub, because it was still cold outside in early spring. It is also a good idea to use warm water when they are still so young. I'm sure they enjoyed the swim and warm up afterwards.

Today we may try with more water in the tub. Temps are supposed to be near 100 here today so it should be ok. I'll slant the water trough so they can walk out to the dry end again. Thanks for all the comments.
