Ducklings neck is swollen

My poor little duckling has had all kinds of problems and bow its little neck is swollen and looks horrible in the bath. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

Nothing is wrong. That is his crop, a storage organ where food goes first, before the stomach. He just had a big meal so it is swollen. Perfectly normal! Now, if it stays that way he could have a blockage. Just check it in a few hours.

The bath tub pictures were from last night. The dry pictures were an hour ago. It seems larger than it was last night.

The crop swells every time they eat and ducklings eat a lot and often. Is your duckling eating and drinking normally? I don’t think it is anything to worry about if it is but I will tag @Isaac 0 , he knows a lot more about impaction than me.

Yes, it seems like its fine. Its eating and drinking normal.

Its doing a whole lot better that vitamin b complex is a miracle worker. He's still scooting around bit standing alot more and his neck swelling has gone down alot. But still puffs up a bit after eating.

YAY! as it should after eating! I'm glad to hear that! B complex is truly the duck panacea!
