Hi everyone!

One of my ducklings hatched on the 21st of this month, while my other duckling hatched yesterday, on the 24th.

I introduced them both today and initially it was okay, they didn't interact that much.

But later on, they started pecking at each other, it started with my older duckling initiating it, pecking at its bill, its feet, the feathers on its back. And the younger duckling did the same. I then saw the younger one taking ahold of the other ducklings wing with its bill. And they also seem to be pecking at each others eyes. I put my hand in between them and they seem to leap at each other. And I begun to worry.

Should I be worried about this behaviour? Should I let this happen? Is this them introducing themselves? What do I do if this behaviour persists?

Ducklings like to nibble on everything. If it seems like they are really hurting or irritating each other I would step in and separate but otherwise I would just let it play out. Are they eating and drinking yet?

Yes they are both eating and drinking now! The older duckling would try and grab ahold of the younger duckling's bill if it saw that she was eating and drinking from the same feeder and waterer as her. But a couple of hours has passed, and the behaviour has stopped thankfully!
