Ducklings Shed Down?

Do ducklings shed their down when they feather out? My ducklings (a little over 2 weeks) are shedding their down. I've noticed feathers beginning to grow in. Could this be a vitamin deficiency of some sort? I've seen them peck at each other. Are they pulling out the down? Right now they are eating a wild game starter. Is this shedding normal? If not, what should I do?

Mine do shed a little as they grow. I notice it most when they are preening after a swim. If you are noticing them pulling at each other- that is most likely the cause of a lot of the loss- as generally they dont naturally shed down in large amounts at a time.
