We just got ten baby ducklings, and I’m pretty sure they are black Swedish, blue Swedish, Rouen, and one Pekin! Does anyone have any tips on caring for ducks and introducing them into a flock of chickens?

They are adorable congrats!! here is some good info https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/raising-and-caring-for-ducklings.750869/

Now one thing you don't want to do is put tiny ducklings in with chickens. Not if you want them to live. But when they ducklings get older and can be outside you can start introducing by have a meet and greet pen that way chickens can get us to the ducklings and the ducklings can meet the chickens. Not sure I would ever have ducks and chickens penned up together but all mine do really well free ranging together. Plus ducks are very messy with water and that can make for an unhealthy are for chickens.

Thanks! We have a run type area underneath the roosts in the coop, we were thinking once they were old enough we would put them in there to introduce them to the flock?
