So I have 11 birds total 5 silver appleyards, 4 welsharliquin and 2 buff geese, and are about a week and a half old does anyone have any recommendations on how to make them more comfortable around me they seem to be very skittish and scared of me

Just sit with them not trying to hold them just being there. By end of next week start offering some mealworms as a treat. That will bring them around. Just don’t over do since they need their feed mainly. But mealworms are the best way In the world to win over ducklings my female goose will eat them too.

Thank you I very much appreciate it and since the cold weather in Michigan recently I haven’t gotten them out but twice on warmer days, but I will definitely get them out this weekend
