Ducks and chickens

For people who have ducks and chickens together my bantam rooster is a little guy and he grabs my ducks by their wings. I’m not sure if he thinks he’s going to mate them or not but they are much bigger then he is so they just keep walking and he’s just holding on while they drag him. He doesn’t do it constantly but I was wondering why he keeps doing this.

Yes, he is trying to mate them.
He won’t harm the ducks but a drake would harm a chicken hen.

Both ducks I have are females. And he doesn’t mess with the hens I have. So I thought it was weird. They are twice his size so it’s comical.

That made me laugh I haven't seen my OEGB rooster grab onto a duck but you ought to see him jump onto the backs of some of my LF hens. It's hysterical I always say ride 'em cowboy.

It’s just so weird because he doesn’t mess with the chickens at all. And he only grabs the ducks wing. Never anywhere else.

Maybe he’s just trying to get her attention as she walks by.
