My son is in 4-h and is going to show ducks and pigs this year. The duck project has become a family hobby overnight!!!! Being big time duck hunters we kind of went the other way here. We have ten and plan on keeping at least two. I've started looking for chickens that would be alright living with the pekins. ALOT TO CHOOSE FROM. We had planned on a few for meat and at least 5 for eggs. Would love some advise before next spring... Thanks!!!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. TwoCrows has given you a good link to our duck section. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your ducks.
