Oh oh - hope you weren't expecting a picture. I have happy ducks though.
It's rainier (even more so than usual) here in NW Washington today. It was so dreary I went out early to 'tuck' everybody in early so I wouldn't have to do it in the dark. The chickens of course had nearly all retreated to their dry houses. But the ducks ... oh they were pretty darned excited - eyeing all the worms on the cement driveway (that were trying not to drown in the soggy soil). So I let them out to 'free range' while I hung out in the carport, relatively dry, and watched them have their fun. They couldn't decide where to run to next -- here there and everywhere - sooooo many tasty treats. I think they'll go to bed tonight with lovely full tummies.
