My ducks have been into the ash from the pellet stove. Ive heard they might be after minerals and such. Im curious if anyone knows if the pellet ash is toxic to them? Or should i let them have it? The bag says it is 100% northern hardwood.

I dump my wood ash out for my chickens to dust bath in. It's sprinkled over the dirt under the wood house. If my ducks eat it must not hurt them I have 1 that is 12 yrs old. I really don't think it will hurt them unless they are pigging out on it.
