Ducks eating feathers

Hi guys I have got my first to ducks (3-4 months olds) and they seem to be eating the old feathers in the coop? They have food and water.

I see a little bit of that from time to time - I don't worry about it. You could give them a few tablespoons of dry cat kibble as a snack and see if that helps (in case they want extra protein).
