ducks eating lots of grass

is this normale? they have been eating a lot of grass but hardly ever used to.....

Mine eat tons of grass when they are not in the cage..Sometines when I cant let them out..I will pick alots of grass and put it in the cage..

That's very normal. My ducks have two pens. While they're in one pen, the other pen is being reseeded. We reseed with quick growing grass seed and within a week they have fresh grass growing. Then we switch them to the newly seeded pen. This way they always have fresh grass to nibble on.

okay well this all makes since. we re seeded our yard a few mths ago and our ducks free range all day so i guess this grass is quite juicy and tender aye
