Ducks in coop during day?

Hi all! My ducks just recently started hanging in their coop (door open) during the day. They never used to do this, just wondering if it's normal. I live in Tx. And it's up to 106 today! As you can see the coop has plenty of ventilation and I have a fan pointed on it. Just curious. Thanks!

Yes ma'am. Several that I replace the water in everyday

then that’s weird. whenever it’s hot here my ducks go straight for the pools not the coop

maybe its time for them to start laying how old are they drakes or ducks

My ducks have been hanging out in their house in the middle of the day, too. I figured it just meant they feel safe and comfortable in there, so I took it as a good thing.

My drake and his sister are about 4 months, my khaki is about 6/7 months and my cayuga is about 8 months

They are all at laying/breeding age look for eggs but i wouldn't try to hatch any if you were going to i would wait till spring but they are probably going to start laying
