my ducks are 14 weeks old, they come out at 9am then want to go back in at 3-4 pm when they get treats and then at 8pm with pellets and a water top up.I don't understand the question. More ducks? More eggs? Do you need more nesting areas?
They should start laying eggs in a couple of weeks.my ducks are 14 weeks old, they come out at 9am then want to go back in at 3-4 pm when they get treats and then at 8pm with pellets and a water top up.
they are white Campbells. You did not say what kind of ducks you have. If they are a laying type like Khaki’s or Golden 300’s, they will probably start laying after they are four months old. But, if they are a type that often takes the winter off from laying (Pekin, Appleyard, Swedish), they may wait until spring to start.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
