Ducks losing feathers...

My ducks look pretty funny right now! They are 10 weeks old and losing feathers. My question is can they come back looking different? I am hoping I have females (khakis), all things point that way. Would they already have green heads if they were drakes, or can that show up after the molting?

They are molting. They molt often too, it seems. They will come back looking WONDERFUL!

as for their sex... you should be able to tell by their quack. and their tails. A curly tail is a drake.

I just looked again.. those look like girls to me. girls quack loud.. boys hardly make any sound when they quack (compared to the girls)

Just remember the quack might not sound like a quack. It could sound like a cross between a honk and a fart. Seriously! LOL

VOLUME is a good indicator. girls get loud. Boys get quieter.
