ducks/need help asap

i have not raised ducks before, someone gave me a few mallard eggs and have hatched them in my incubator, they are real small and they do not want to eat or drink....i have dipped bills in water at interval and bills in food and it does not help ...have also placed starter on paper towel and still do not get them to peck,,,they are so cute....please help thanks by the way, i have been using chick starter is this what they eat????

try posting inthe duck section - way down on the index page. Lots of help there. I haven't hached ducks but I have been told that medicated chuick starter is deadly for them.

chickbird, a suggestion... have you posted your ? in the "Ducks" section. Instead of "Raising Baby Chicks". Ducks is Down the page a little further. I'm not saying it won't get answered here but for duck stuff thats where I go & get some of the best advice. I'm fairly new with ducks/still learning. How old are they? Usually they wont have much interest in food or water in the first couple of days. You didn't mention when they hatched. If it was just today or yesterday, don't worry too much. This is why hatcheries ship the day they hatch.
