Ducks ordered from ideal

Today I ordered some ducks from ideal 3 blue Sweden and 2 Perkins. I am wondering if they will ship peanuts with order? If will be what males they have in ducks or will they ship males? Please reply with any info you had with them.

I've never ordered ducks from them, but chicks they often give peanuts based on the number ordered and the climate at the time. However, ducks are larger as hatchlings, and if you do recieve peanuts it shouldn't be many. Perhaps one or two. Usual peanuts are almost always males, ive heard a case or two where one or two turned out to be female. Im definitely not an expert but I hope this helped in some way!

As do I sadly, I wish I could keep them all but a flock can only take so many roosters! But ive heard from several people that if you put them on craigslist for free they'll be snatched up pretty quick. That's what I plan to do when my next order arrives.

I have done that before with some hatches. I always post to bring a small carrier or a box or something. When they get to my house they have this little container or it I couldn't find anything to put them in. So iam always giving away my carriers.

Ha! I understand that, atleast the roosters will find homes however. I seem to have trouble finding people locally who want them, I suppose ill begin looking this Thursday. My next order is due to arrive 07/09/15.

I know Ideal ships packing peanuts with Turkeys so I assume they do the Same with ducks. But the weather has been so hot, I doubt they'll send you many! If im not mistaken (and I might be) but they'll send male chicks, and not ducks, since they are not as desired by consumers as pullets, ducks, or turkeys.

They did not give you the option of sexed duck's? It is not to hard to sex a duck.. Look it up or ask around.. We love our Muscovy's & blue Swedish .. Rick & Lauren.. No names yet for our Muscovy's..

I got all females. Right now I got 3, 2 males and 1 female. The males have been after my chickens and I want to replace them with females. I order 3 blue Swedish and 2 Perkins. Iam thinking of only keeping 2 and rehoming the other 3 and what other peanuts I get. Plus rehoming the 2 male ducks I already have.
