Ducks overeating?

I have about 12 chicks varying in age from one to two months in the brooder along with 5 three week old buff/khaki ducklings. I'm putting about 8 cups of chick starter (nonmedicated) every day, and every time I go out there, the feeder is empty!! Are the ducks just gobbling everything up and starving my chicks?

I've already decided it's time for the ducks to either leave the brooder or be re-homed as they are perpetually making a swamp and I don't think its good for the chicks. I just don't know what to do with them in the interim.

Thanks for advice!

Hey streemers, thanks! Where are you at? I'm on the south end of Whidbey Island. I posted the ducklings on craigslist here but haven't gotten any interest in them.

I think I may not be able to give them the best set-up here and I'm also thinking they may eat me out of house and home before too long! I live in a high-predator area or else I'd try to let them forage a bit, but it just isn't safe enough.

If you're anywhere close, come and get them! I only want a few bucks each for them to help offset some of the feed costs.

Buff/khakis are cool looking. And they DO eat like crazy while growing but then, once they are full size, they are much less piggish
