Ducks staying in coop?!

Hi all! My ducks have started staying in the coop for hours after I open the door in the morning. Basically until I chase them out. This am i opened the door at 8 and stayed in until 11 when I chased them out. They have started doing this the last week or so. Weird?

Sounds as if there may be a predator in the area. Be on high alert.
