Can anyone tell me what to expect time wise for ducks hatching? I've hatched turkeys and chickens, and am due for my first ducks (IR's) in the next couple days. Anything different, like from pip to zip length?

Thanks!

Incubation Time 21 days for chickens, 28 days for ducks, 35 for muscovies.

There is a school of thought about cooling and misting duck eggs, we do not do it and have good hatches.

Pip to Zip seems to be a bit longer for ducks, 24 hours seems fairly common.

It is recommended to have a higher humidity at hatch, we do not do it and have good hatches.

Good luck..........

Thanks for the info. I am trying ducks for the first time too. My humidity has been around 40%.
I am trying not to let it get below 40%. I am 1 week from lockdown. So far so good. I am planning for 70% humidity for hatching.

I have a theory about why muscovies take longer...it's gotta be becuse they are so obnoxious.
