Ducks water winter

Cement mixing tubs work really well in winter, fill let them play and dump before dark. usually by time for bed there isn't much water left after my 14 water fowl have played in it.

One of the options I use is a large electric dog water dish. It is spill proof (well, they can't tip it over, but they can throw water over the top so it freezes above the dish rim. They are ducks, after all.) and deep enough that at least one runner duck at a time can bathe.

I use those to feed the ff I give my flock. and heated buckets for drinking with half covered so they can't climb inside.
