Does anyone know if you can put 12 week old ducks in with older ducks, is this possible to do or would they not get on?

Start by letting the older ducks get to know the kids but with some type of barrier. I'll put my 8-12 week old's in a shelter in the pasture for several days, then on release day, I just watch closely for any over the top behavior.

I have them next to them in a pen, did you have any problems when you mixed them?

Are they all going to be in an enclosed space or do they free range? I've integrated ducks of those ages without issue- but there is plenty of space for them to get away from each other should they feel the need to!

They will be in a pen as we have a few foxes that get into garden . But it is 10ft by at least 20ft so quite big for them.

The only issue I've had was one of my drakes tried to have his way with one of the young hens... :barnie But it didn't go well for the drake :lau
