Ducks

I have two ducks in with my chickens. They make a mess around the water and around the edge after it rains. What can I put down to stop them from making mud. I was thinking p gravel. Don't know if that will hurt the chickens

Many folks keep ducks separate from chickens for just this reason.

P gravel wouldn't hurt the chickens, but you will want them to have dirt ground also to access.

And ducks...are ducks.... no matter what you do their water will be filthy and they will drill holes into the ground with their bills.

I'm learning that about ducks. I didn't want ducks. My wife and grand daughter conspired against me.
