Dumb newbie question: Can I keep my 3 roos together?

They are 7 weeks old and have been together since birth. I tried putting 1 with my 2 girls, but it was a no-go, even when I totally swapped out the cages.

The 3 boys get along great, but will this change dramatically in a few weeks?

Sorry for the stupid questions. This was a simple school project that turned us into quail-lovers and we are still learning!

Yes you can keep the males by there selves or you might be able to introduce one to a female if you keep them close enough together for a while then put them together in a strange cage.

it depends. I have seen males that are raised up together get along fine and then I have seen them not get along. I'd say as long as it is working... but be prepared... the moment it stops working.. you need to get them seperated. I had two brothers get along well into maturity, then one day out of no where they started to fight and I had to sell one. When they fought it was bloody! Just saying... they were well past the first crow, well past mating... I think that is what set it off. I think the hens were the catalyst that set that wheel in motion. It was one day to the next... just forwarning.

I have two roosters in with 15 hens in a 6x2.5x2.5 cage. They are just 6 weeks old, the roosters started crowing at 4 weeks old, and they are a perfect match so far. I like how they bounce their crowing back and forth in the morning and at night, but I am ready for the possible fight with a spare enclosure. I got my first eggs from them today, just 3 days short of 6 weeks. I am currently starting a flight enclosure to add many more in my inventory.

I am shooting for 100 quail and maybe holding at that point. Right now I have 19, 17 Coturnix, two of those roos and two button quail in with them for entertainment.
