So can you hatch a thawed egg? I have fertile eggs but by the time I get home from work sometimes the eggs are very cold. My daughter and I want to hatch some eggs but maybe we should wait until our weather gets above freezing? Experts please advise

If the eggs is just cold you can still hatch it. Put the egg on the counter with the pointy end down for 24 to 48 hours at room temp. After you can put it in the pre warmed incubator. Let alone for a week. Candle after 7 days and you'll know if it was viable.

We have 4 black Australorps, 2 Americauna, 4 speckled Sussex, and one speckled roo! I want to see what a speckled and a black look like I can tell the egg difference by the color shades. Speckled are very light brown and the blacks are darker and of course we know what Americauna look like.
