Dumped New Hampshire rooster?

Terrible what people will dump. At this point why not eat him?!
I agree. My household has ended up with dumped dogs and cats for years because we live on a country road that's close enough to town. And obviously I don't have him yet but ummm would folks think I'm a bad person if I already thought of that? 🍗🍗:drool

So I found where he was roosting and came back later when it was dark, but didn't bring a net. He was just beyond my reach and took off right before I got him. I looked all around there and couldn't find him. Hopefully he's still there today. He's huge, almost looks like some kind of red broiler but how well do they fly?

So, what are you going to do with him?
I want to see if he's in good shape first, then see what kind of temperament he has. I've got an EE rooster now that's been separate for a while due to butthead behavior (and he let the girls pluck his entire beard out) so I'd give him a chance.

Nope! It would be a kinder death then what happens in nature. You'll get him nice healthy and fat, before he has one bad day.
