OK experts! Newbie needs your help. Duramycin 10 label uses milligrams per gallon of water. I don't have anything that measures milligrams. And it is apples to oraganges comparing mg's to tablespoons. What are you all using to measure Duramycin with? I put in 1/8 tablespoon in their water last night and prayed I didn't do anything to harm them. I've made a call to the vet, but waiting, so was hoping to get some help from my fellow chicken lovers!
I had one of my 12-14 week Rhode Island Red chicky with a bum eye. I washed it and with a dropper put a few drops of the duramycin water over the eye. I hope it was alright to do this??
P.S. I guess I didn't harm them, they were all quite perky this morning. But still worried.
I would like any advice on treating chickens with Duramycin.
