Dust bath

Hi there,

My girls have taken to dust bathing in the corner of the garden which is absolutely fine. However it's not sheltered and has been raining recently and is now just a pile of mud. They have ignored any replacement I have offered (so I can cover it).


I'm trying to construct some cover in the mean time but any suggestions what I can do?

I think they might be attempting to dust bath in their coop which isn't really big enough

They can go for a while without a dust bath while you build your shelter

If you have any large branches, you could make a tee-pee or obelisk looking structure over the dust bath in the garden so that they have some aerial protection.
