Dustbath in BBQ ashes?

Is it okay that my ladies are dust bathing in old BBQ ashes? Looks like they are doing burnouts!

Ashes are great for them. Just make sure there are not any hot coals left.

I know where I am going to put my ashes from the BBQ tonight. All this time I used to bag it & throw it away in the trash. Love having chickens! Thanks ya'll. K
