I walk them to the pond each morning now for breakfast. The ducks would live out there, the geese stay until about 5 o'clock then the jump through the fence and come to find me or the cleanest walkway they can find to poop on.

I would think that grass would be more comfortable for resting, but I guess not...

I have 3 young pilgrim females in my flock now. I can't get over how pretty they are at that age. Mine all have more white on their faces than yours does (hardly has any really). But, so cool to see them on water!!

I was down in our pasture earlier checking on the heifers and sheep, and also hunting nutrea. I was creeping around by the slough/ditches and stumbled on a pair of malards with about 10 babies swimming quickly behind them. They were so tiny! But it was so awesome to watch!
