I have a couple of young dwarf chickens. I'm not sure what the name of these chickens are called. They are very small and only grow up to about pigeon size.

Anyone have these chickens? Know what they are called?

Thanks!

there are also dwarfs in bantams in which an individual is significantly smaller than normal. Most of the ones I've seen were silkies from hatcheries.

I will try to get some pictures later, but for now, I can provide a brief decription of what they look like to my best ability.

Both the roo's and hen's head is mostly grayish white and body is more a dark gray color. They look very similar to pigeons. I hear there are others of these kinds that are red and more colorful.

Someone mentioned that there are dwarf sized bantams... smaller than regular bantams. Well, I think mines are much smaller than regular bantams.

The picture will help us and you can take the picture of the bird being held or beside a pop can so that we get a idea of the size...

Most of my Rhode Island bantams where a little taller than a pop can tall and around 34 oz.

I'm not going to be able to get any pics of my bantams, but I found someone else's pictures on here and now I know that I have Silver duckwing old english bantams.

I LOVE THEM!!!
